dark blue paint chips exposing bright blue primary coat

Shortly after purchasing this dark blue product from Amazon, the dark blue paint started chipping off exposing the bright blue primary coat. The chipping continues to this day with only the water in the fountain running over it. We put it into service on June 1, 2024. I have attached a picture which shows the fountain in it current condition on Aug 11, 2024. Previously we owned a teal color of the same style which we purchased ~5 years ago. The teal color did not have a chipping problem.
